Preston Corporation No. 14,

(PRN 906), is a Leyland Titan PD3/4 with MCW "Orion" bodywork; the second of a batch of of 7, it was new in October 1961. Preston eventually had 34 PD3s, 26 bought new with similar MCW bodywork delivered between 1958 and 1965 as well as 8 unique rebuilds from earlier Leyland-bodied PD2s.

These vehicles had long careers in Preston before being supplanted by Atlanteans and 14 was one of the last half-dozen survivors being withdrawn in March 1980. It passed briefly to Lonsdale Coaches of Morecambe before being acquired by the Ribble Vehicle Preservation Trust (RVPT) in 1981. It remained in their care for many years but latterly space constraints and a desire to focus on the core Ribble collection saw 14 consigned to open storage at their Freckleton site.
