ALLOCATION OF BUSES

("Final" draft - 10/09/2011)

Journeys in the programme timetable are identified by "board number".

With less than 24 hours to go, following a long hard week by a few dedicated volunteers preparing and checking the buses, this is what we plan to use.

However, it should be understood that it may be necessary to make last-minute changes if a vehicle becomes unavailable.

Sorry, but due to mechanical problems that cannot be fixed in time, L255 has had to be withdrawn from this year's event.

STOP PRESS-PIER HEAD

PANIC OVER!

Page 2 of the programme mentions using Exchange Street East in the morning, instead of the Pier Head. This was included in error by copying from last year! Our intention is to use the Pier Head all day.

The River Festival event will not affect us, so the Pier Head (Mann Island) terminal will be in use ALL DAY.

SPOT THE "TYPO"

Thank you to those people whose close scrutiny of the programme booklet discovered a few minor "typos" as follows:

The 61D journey is actually operated by board 4, and not the number typed in the programme!

The H1/H25 journey that leaves Garston at 1024 is operated by board 16, and not the number printed.

Departures from Woolton - all the 66B journeys from Woolton are listed as going to..... Woolton! This should obviously read "LSP".

Departures from Penny Lane - the 77A journeys at 1720 and 1820 are listed as going to Speke Hall; these actually terminate at LSP.

LEYLAND LEOPARD

XGS 771X (fleet number 4771) has stepped in at short notice to operate board 17 when one of the Crosville buses became unavailable. Grateful thanks to Adrian Penfold-Ivany!
